Deborah Stringfellow is just one reason Gwinnett County students have a great place to learn. Stringfellow, who teaches science at Alton C. Crews Middle School, deserves our finest congratulations.

Stringfellow was born with an innate love of learning and a desire to help others, and even taught her younger brothers to read. “The most rewarding part of teaching is knowing that each day when my students enter the classroom, I have been entrusted with the next generation of leaders. After 24 years in the classroom, Stringfellow is still passionate about teaching. “I want to continue discovering and sharing the wonder and excitement of learning with others. If I can do that, then I’ll have succeeded.”

As is tradition, Hayes Chrysler is giving the Teacher of the Year a new car to drive for the summer as a way of saying: “Thank you, Deborah Stringfellow, for ensuring that Success Lives Here.”
